To me this is a run of the mill production that ESPN is putting on for the Championship …

They put more money into the Rose Bowl production.

This game looks no more special than any other Saturday game ESPN produced all year.

It's cause it's in a boring and soulless venue. Can't really make it look that spicy compared to the Rose Bowl

We don’t have guys like Keith Jackson to sell the excitement anymore.

When the playoff goes to bid in two years, I really hope NBC, CBS or Fox get in the mix for some of it

I guess this is what fans of teams that *don’t * make the playoffs bitch about.

It's actually kind of refreshing. I don't need some pop star doing 30 minute halftime shows.

You talk like LSU is a regular CFP team.

Producers just missed the final kneel down because they were focusing on Harbaugh.

Awful

Should be played in the Rose Bowl every single year, just like the baseball natty is always played in Omaha. There's just something special about that Rose Bowl atmosphere.

Agree. Play all the playoff games at home field until Final Game at the Rose Bowl.

Did you see the Rose Bowl game? Field was trash, atmosphere sucked.

It's a relic. Who cares?

They didn’t even show the halftime bands.

They mist have hired the people who arranged the welcome presser for LR, as replayed in the video link at X:

The Rose Bowl is so far ahead of the other venues that it makes everything pale in comparison.

However, the Fiesta, Sugar, Cotton, Peach, and Orange bowls are all great venues and would’ve been much better than what we saw tonight. NRG stadium has no business hosting a title game.
