LSU won at Kyle because they took care of business and outplayed the Aggies.

No excuses whatsoever and congratulations to them on a good game.

The passing game wasn't good, but thanks for the compliments and classiness.

Not as proof. I have been reading articles about football a long time. I have been attending them a long time. My statement was that if you take all the different sources, articles, whatever on loudest stadiums - the 3 that are most consistently at the top are LSU Fla and A&M.

I searched loudest stadiums and that is the first article that popped up. My point is do your own research - you will find those 3 the most in top 5 nationally.

But I also agree from my own experience at these stadiums - I have been to all of them.

A&M fans are different for sure. But they have the passion on game day of SEC schools. They have Yell practice for gods sake. They take pride in yelling as loud as they can.

There is no proof - especially on this cartoon board. But if the article from Texas game, internet articles and people that have been to all isn't enough - then people just don't want to hear it.

Google some yourself. and this is in a horseshoe.

When it gets to 102,000, enclosed, they are lowering field and getting seats closer - it will be A&M and LSU. We will have to hear it before we can say.

I think Oregon, Wisconsin, and Penn State are usually up there as well

I don't think ANYONE questions A&M fans passion for football. Noise has more to do than just passion though. Penn State has the largest student section the country, Wisconsin and LSU are crazy and Oregon has the sound engineering going for it

No one is saying A&M isn't loud, we just think its a bit of an exaggeration to suggest that Bama or any other SEC teams just have no idea what they're getting into.

Heat and noise are two things SEC teams deal with on a weekly basis. They won't be surprising.

It's why I've always felt A&M was an SEC team that sort of wandered off a little.

and sometimes Michigan and sometimes Ohio State. I have not been to those. But for as big as they are they stay down on lists alot. I always wondered why. I guess they just dont yell like in the south.

I went to ND - it was a joke. Tailgating was a 1 out of ten. Crowd was not loud.

Not my bias. These are national publications. But I can guess that it is similar to ND. They just are not as maniacal. For instance Texas is not loud at all and it is big. They just don't physically make the effort. A&M is a strange bird and much more Texas than Gulf South - but shares that insanity.

Consensus number 1. Can't argue with that. I remember seeing a link a few years ago that had Tiger Stadium ranked internationally with European soccer stadiums as being among the most hostile competitive atmospheres in the world.

It was the only college football stadium listed if I recall correctly.

The atmosphere Bama played in last year at night in Death Valley is as good as it gets according to any source you wish to cite. To suggest they don't know what they're in for when it comes to crowd noise is a bit homerish and naive considering the big games they have been involved in the last few years.
