Pretty much. Suspension + make him jump through the hoops Pig did to come back. Honestly though have a hard time with making this criminal in the first place. It should be a civil matter - if this happened the way the police report says it did pay up for the damage and be done with it. That's the way it would be done here in East, TN by many (well not the yankee transplants - they'd freak out).
I just find it a totally pussy move by the parents and kid to deal with it this way. BTW, that means a dyed in the wool liberal (yours truly) is calling them pussies and in some cases if you're serious rather than trolling you too.
