Out of curiosity, why do you find Atl. not neutral?

Bama fans have had SEC championship game tickets locked up since the game was in Alabama.

Think about this. USCe has to place a team every year that they're never ever beaten ever. That is a pretty damn tough draw if you ask me.

At least we are not scared to play them.

It could be easier for them. They could play George every year.

Right... Because Tennessee has been so superior in recent years, right?

Let's see. The last time Tennessee finished with a better SEC record than Georgia was in 2006. You know, over a decade ago.

Record in SEC regular play since 2002:

Georgia: 82-38
Tennessee: 58-62

Now tell me again how Bama would have gotten it easier had they played Georgia every year?

SHUT UP!! You and the Gumps screw over everybody else in the SEC because the world will stop turning if ya'll don't play each other every year! Want fair? Do away with permanent opponents and actually rotate opponents.

Who won last year? That's all that matters.

Who owns the series?

You couldn't take control of the series even with Tennessee sucking arse for the past 10 years.

Of course you would say that.... Georgia has won 5 of the last 6 meetings and 11 of the last 16. Congrats on your Hail Mary to finally win one for a change.

No. We haven't taken control of the series because the majority of our meetings took place prior to 2000... back when UT actually had a football program to be proud of.

Again, we've won 11 of the last 16 meetings. At the current rate, it won't be long before we do take the series. We're only 2 games back now.

Absurd Georgia and A&M were mediocre last year

A&M didn't start mediocre. You have to remember UT played them early instead of november. Hell we were hanging with bama until an unreal series of bama type plays broke it open in the 3rd.

No you haven't. You haven't managed to even the series despite UT's worst run ever the past decade.

You usually have good points, failed today

That is why we schedule the Oklahomas and Oregons for our out-of-conference games while our SEC rivals are scheduling Georgia Southern and Charleston Southern.

as an LSU fan I can appreciate the Vols scheduling tough OOC opponents but damn can yall at least beat them every now and then

Actually we were leading well into the 3rd and had Alabama 3rd and long at about midfield when our LB Shaan Washington over pursued and bumped Hurts for a late hit. We then extended the drive again with another penalty leading the drive to a TD to take the lead.

It was still very much a game until Bama did bama things and scooped and scored like they have almost every game since forever.

Bama gonna bama, and likely would have won (comfortably?) anyway but we certainly shot ourselves in the foot about 5 times in a 5 minute span.
