Look, I'm no AU fan (pretty sure that's evident), but you simply cannot compare Marshall and Yeldon. They play different positions, and Marshall touches the ball every time.

At BEST, you might be able to analyze each individual fumble to determine how they occurred. That's a lot of useless time spent researching a fairly pointless topic. The two simply are not comparable.

I, honestly, cannot think of a system where a QB can be compared to Marshall. Prescott perhaps? How many teams are running speed options these days?

Not sure if anyone said he sucks arse in this thread I don't really have time or the want to read it. I was not being literal in my comment. Just noting they anti Alabama sentiment on this website is palpable and every thread started by a gump gets shite on hard. Granted a lot of the threads get started by dumbasses (like you OP, how did you think this was gonna go).

You could switch this out for almost every fanbase. This thread is getting shite on for obvious reasons. The OP and his content

I realize this thread is fricking retarded and the OP should known better. But he's dumb and his responses in this thread have been dumb. I find it hard to believe there's a team on this website more hated than Alabama, I understand it, everyone hates the best and wants to knock him off. I just don't understand why people think it's a good idea to start a thread like this

Sorry for the thread. Should of known your right. Wasn't comparing Yeldon to Marshall was just pointing out how many fumbles marshall had. More than any qb, more than cam and tebow x3. Yeldon sucks and can't hold on to the ball. Auburn is the best thing since sliced bread. Can the season be here now

-Nick Marshall fumbled a good bit because he is a read option QB. If you know anything about football you know that just comes with that style of play. (I'm sure you have no clue what that is though)

Cam Newton disagrees.
Colin Kaepernick disagrees.
Russell Wilson disagrees.
Tim Tebow disagrees.

While you can't compare the fumbles of the two directly, these two separate statements can be made.

T.J. Yeldon fumbles way too much.
Nick Marshall fumbles way too much.

Both need to clean it up going into this season.

I'm sure this has been discussed, but AU's offense inherently produces more fumbles. This stat shouldn't be a surprise.

Don't say Yeldon is a fumble machine when Marshall fumbled 9 times more and had 40 less carries. I
Carries?

You realize a QB can fumble on pass attempts too, right?

So let's see here... Marshall had a total of 411 plays to his name in 2013... Yeldon had 207...

Survey says you're a moron.

Not disagreeing with you on premis, but if a fumble occurs it is not recorded as a passing attempt statistically.
