UGA-Florida play Oct 22nd instead of Oct 29th.

LSU-Florida play Oct 29th.

LSU loses its Bama prep week, but we see how well that does us yearly.

LSU's and Florida's bye week is now this weekend, Oct 8th.

What say you, f.u. admin wusses?

That would work. Georgia and Florida have the same bye week. While it would suck for Georgia fans who have commitments that weekend due to the bye week, it would be just about the most ideal outcome.

Forget the bye week. UGA has a break in the academic calendar for the Florida game.

They're not moving the Florida-Georgia game..... you think that a normal home game has a lot to prepare for? You have no idea... the whole city of Jax and surrounding area would have to adjust and it simply won't happen. Jax PAYS the schools to have it there -- NOT HAPPENING.

It will if Florida wants it to happen. But, we already know how that song goes.....

This assumes Jax doesn't get hit too hard from Matthew. Like we went thru here with the floods, locals had all the hotels filled up. The hotels couldn't kick them out because people didn't have a place to live. Not saying that this will happen, but that game may be affected.

I was wondering UF and LSU can't play in Baton Rouge this year and then play at UF next year.

Unless LSU refused to agree to that idea.

I think you should each buy out your November 19 opponents so that your November schedule is-

Bama
@Arkansas
@Florida
@aggy 4 days after Florida

Easily the most fair compromise

Ha, nice try.

I'd be up for it if they agree to play @LSU this year and then LSU go to Florida the next 2 seasons.

In all seriousness, I don't agree with the logic you guys seem to have of "Well, we can't play in your state due to weather, so its only fair that we just play the game as scheduled in our house instead".

USC bought it last year but most would not.

yes. it's a ploy. we have hurricane steering powers.

Amazing how you don't "buy it" and meanwhile this cancellation helps umat.

Seriously. They are currently working on a way to get that one canceled too.

That's not a bad idea.

Can the UGA/Florida game can be moved without too much issue given this much advanced warning?

If it was being moved back, yes. But earlier might be tough. I think it's doable though.
