Wow. Imagine. A LSU fan talking about other teams talking crap!

Fan bases as a whole can spot horrific behavior by everybody elses teams while remaining blissfully ignorant of their own teams behavior.

Boom MF is in over his head. So glad he did not come to Auburn.

Florida hit it lucky with Spurrier who won a natty. Meyer was even better but cracks were showing.

They have had some good times over the last 20 years but honestly, Florida has spent way more time being a sad sack SEC program than an elite one over time. These seasons are the norm, not the exception as history shows.

I'm not taking up for WM, but UF players have acted like this on the field under Spurrier, Zook, Meyer, and now WM. It happens under every coach at UF and will continue to happen under any other coach that comes here more than likely.

Very embarrassing, but typical, specially during a GAg game.

He's a goon with no real pedigree other than being the school under Saban at lsu. I never understood the hype going back to Texas naming him coach in waiting.

Good luck Florida.

My take?
He was not ready to be a HC, specially not at Florida. But I honestly think he will be a very good one, and soon. He has had horrible luck with injuries, and no QB/OL since he came in. He has made many rookie mistakes, there is no doubt about that. He needed a great OC, since he is a hands off D guy. He made two horrible hires. That is on him.
He will get another year, but if he doesn't improve the offense next year to at least 50 in the country, he will be gone. He needs the right guy on O, and hopefully Grier will be as good as people think he will be. He also needs to get good OL players for next year, or we will have a horrible offense again.

Not having a QB will kill anybody. Remember AU's offense in 2011 with Trotter/Moseley? Even Gus couldn't put lipstick on that pig.

If I am a UF fan I am more worried about the lack of discipline. That can sink a coach faster than anything else.

I think you eliminate the thuggery, find a QB, and things are looking a lot better in Gainesville. You guys just played in the Sugar Bowl and were in the discussion to get into the championship game.

Johnny, JD, And Murphy are just not good QB. Murphy has a better brain, but no arm. Johnny, and JD had the arm, but were bad decision makers. Although they didn't have what AL QBs have- all the time in the world to throw, and a clean uniform.

Most of our problems stem from two straight years with two OL recruits. That is on Urban. We need numbers, and at least mediocrity, because OL get hurt consistently.

Is there a SEC quality QB on the roster now? That's been the oddest thing to see when watching the gators, a flat arse horrible offense. Re the thugs: how many on the current roster are UM's POS's? The arrest record alone shows what type of thugs UM had on the team then. Is this a carry over effect or just an apparent lack of team discipline, which would make it Boom's fault as the HC.

3 straight years of an offense ranked outside the top 100. Never in my life did I think I would see that at UF.

I think Muschamp's future may ride on the Vandy game.

That was the dumbest game of football I can ever remember watching. Yeah, rivalry, UGA-UF, blah blah blah.

I sent your greatly valued opinions to Foley and Muschamp and Muschamp would like to have a private audience with...but first he has to go to the hardware store for supplies.

Instead of kneejerk posts...may I suggest a cooling off period and get your head right. HOW LONG have you been a Gator fan? No one is happy, but I am glad we fought back and made it a game. Better times are coming. Muschamp will be back next year and leave it alone. If we don't improve in 2014...that's another story.

What is knee jerk about not finding three years of 100+ ranked offense acceptable? We are currently 113th for frick sake. Even the monstrosity of an offense in 2010 was better than this crap.

WM is going to have two 6-6 seasons. You really think that's acceptable? His record is currently comparable to Zook's.

Btw, we still lost to an average Miami team even when we were at full strength.

No, Zook was a great recruiter. Boom and his volatility are not.

Disagree that it was Urbz's fault. We took 2 in 2010 (2 5 Star's I might add) because we took 5 in 2009. That made sense. We then took 2 in 2011, which was bad, but that was more because it was a transition year so I don't think it was either Meyer or Muschamp's fault.

Then in 2012, we inexplicably only took 2 as well. Muschamp keeps preaching the importance of the LOS, but he still didn't go crazy with OL recruiting that year despite our obvious issue there. He made up for this somewhat by getting 2 transfers.

I really think our OL was fine against the UGA game, so I don't think that is the sole reason for our offense suckage. Maybe OL development, but not numbers per se.

Foley needs not let Muschamp turn into a 3-9 Chizik type trainwreck next year. It sure looks familiar. Hope they make a change very soon. A strong Fla program is good for the SEC.

Florida is ranked 110th in total offense.
Team ranked 111th? Boston College. Coached by? Addazio.
Ranked 118th? Kansas. Coached by? Weis.

This and the combination of John Brantley, Jeff Driskel, and Tyler Murphy. explains it all.

I call it like I see it. I don't sugar coat anything about the problems UF has.

Trust me, I liked Muschamp when he first got to UF. I wanted him to succeed.

This season is a failure. The only way this season is anything I'd want to remember, is if UF beats an undefeated Florida State team at the end of the season.
