I can't say I'd do the same, but good for him wanting to develop more and go earlier.

High aspirations. Mid to late first at best no hate here just my opinion

No hate taken. As he even said, he needs to prove he's a 3 down OLB. That's surprisingly self aware of a big time athlete.

Things like this help Bama a lot. They get a lot of guys to stay their senior season.

yeah. there is an outside chance jonathan allen comes back to finish his degree. if that happens we would be returning our top 2 sack leaders. probably wont because hes a surefire 1st round guy

It really does, Saban does a great job convincing fringe guys to stick around.

There's only been a few who've declared regardless of what Saban thinks and probably only 1 or 2 that might have regretted staying.

There was a tug of war between Saban and Sal Sunseri over Vinnie, Sal wanted him to leave early since he had the knee injury and enough on tape to go on.

A kid from Baton Rouge, with a first round grade, that LSU didn't "want." Lord please keep Les down there forever.

Sheeit, imagine having Henry, Ashawn, Jon Allen, OJ, Reuben, Williams, etc. back next year. Bama loses their share of juniors.

Did LSU recruit him at all? Serious question, I really don't remember who else was in the race.

From what I remember from his recruitment, it was said that LSU wanted him but he let it be known rather early on that he wanted to go out of state. When this became evident, LSU did not pursue him as hard as others. Would have loved to have seen him in purple and gold. He's a great player.

Bama has been fortunate to have some outstanding players return for their senior year. Hightower, Barron, Ragland, CJ Mosley, etc. Tim Williams returning is huge. Allen, Ashawn ate definitely gone. Rueben Foster is the guy that Bama could not afford to lose.
