TS has a higher peak noise level. The Bryd catch in 2007 was off the charts and other big game changing moments are too. JH is louder from start to finish. The crowd maintains more noise longer.

JH is better than TS for day game, for sustained consistent noise, and for somewhat equal noise distribution amongst all fans.

TS is better than JH, BHG, and BD, at night, and in student noise(of which they like BD..carry much of stadium's quota)..especially day games and smaller OOC affairs.

JH and Autzen and Lane, have to be at the top of daygame noise levels, and in sustained day noise.

"Unless BDS is a lot louder now with the expansion, both JHS and TS are louder than BDS."

I assume you went for Ole Miss games? No offense (and this will sound incredibly arrogant but it's true), we never lose at home to Ole Miss so don't expect anything remotely approaching a big time atmosphere when visiting for that game. Visit when Tennessee, Auburn, LSU, Florida, or Georgia visits. The only big time atmosphere at BDS for a Mississippi school was in 1999 when Miss State visited with a trip to Atlanta on the line and BDS was incredibly loud the entire game. That was one of the better atmospheres ever at BDS and far and away the best involving either Ole Miss or MSU. I've also noticed that Bama fans get really tight/nervous when we are really good and just want to get games over with. I hate that about our fanbase and that is probably what Brad Pitt is refering to in his post. When we aren't great and expect to lose, the fans loosen up and it can be incredibly loud like Georgia 2002, Oklahoma 2003, Florida 2005, Georgia 2007, etc.

Having said all that, I echo others in this thread. Tiger Stadium and JHS are consistently louder than BDS. BDS can for short spurts get just as loud as the other two but the others are FAR FAR more consistent. I hate to admit it but JHS (1995 and 1997 Iron Bowls) was a continuous din of noise that vibrated through your insides. A bad### atmosphere both games. Fans were complete aholes in general (despite how well they may treat other visiting fanbases)but there was no denying the incredible atmosphere. Much the same with Tiger stadium. That place is really really hard to beat for a big game. LSU fans have been really spoiled in recent years so they've lost a little bit of their edge from the old days but it's still a mind blowing atmosphere. LSU fans are a lot more fun outside the stadium than Auburn fans however.
