I'm guessing exposure played a big part in that. I wouldn't get too worked up over it, I doubt anybody thought too much over the first team kicker.

Tiffin missed PATs ( as in more than one). I think missing one PAT should automatically disqualify any kicker from any recognition at this level or beyond. Other than that, Walsh was 19 of 21 with misses from 38 and 55 yards. Tiffin was 29-33 with misses from 36, 39, 43 and 49. Walsh was 4 for 5 from >50 yards. Walsh also had a far greater touchback percentage ( 25 to 15) even though he was having to kickoff short half the time due to UGA's imcomprehensible kick coverage strategy.

Basically, Rex Robinson was right; this was a lazy pick. Bama was a better team with a less efficient red zone offense and a less TO-prone QB so Tiffin gets the postseason recognition.

LSU kicker would kick both their asses I was afraid our game would come to a fg and he is money from better than fifty

So because he had fewer attempts that cost him? Is it our fault we had the conference high in scoring offense?

yes you have 1 more but you missed 3, he's a good kicker i jus don't see how he can be picked over Walsh.

tiffin had 13 attempts from 20-29 ( subtracted from 29 made= 16/20)

walsh had 4 attempts from 20-29 (subtracted from 19 = 15/ 17)
