That's just one of those weird baseball plays. It's not like some callednoff someone on an easy foul ball and then backed off

As an objective viewer, I really don't have a huge problem being aggressive going for 3rd. Make em throw you out and took an absolutely perfect fielding play and throw to get the out. Tip your hat to the CF.

You never make out 1 or 3 at 3rd. Stay at 2nd and you're still in scoring position and you're a run up. Now you get nothing. It's just not worth the gamble there.

Yeah I know the unwritten rule of never get the 3rd out at 3rd base. Also, I can see the argument that you have Smith on the mound and you don't need to go out and take chances to score. I just think it was so close and took a perfect play to throw him out. I like some aggressiveness sometimes.

I turned it on at 12-6 and started to message you saying to take it easy on us. Then we just started getting hits. Honestly some of it was lazy fielding and poor decisions. I think the outfielder gave up on one too early. Good game though. Wasn’t expecting us to score 7 runs in the 6th.

Yeah we have had our freshman pitching well. That score is like a beer league softball game.
