Really unfortunate that we weren't able to pitch our ace. It would have been a much better series to watch. That's the way it goes sometimes though. Well deserved title for UF.

Florida’s ace Alex Faedo didn’t pitch either in the CWS finals.

You mean in the finals. That is correct, neither ace pitched in the finals. They did have a great pitcher's duel earlier in the season though.
I almost feel bad for TCU because that CWS they beat A&M, Louisville and Florida, but also lost twice to Florida. Faedo started both of those games and he was on fire.

That UF pitching staff was criminally talented. It was an obscene embarrassment of riches.
