We have gotten close to bringing it home, but Stanford just plays too many sports for us to overcome.

Guess this puts to rest the dabate on who had the most success across all programs in their first 2 years of the SEC....

A&M, not even close.

True. But expansion is about FOOTBALL. Mizzou was on the National Stage in a conference championship game. Nobody is expanding for basketball, baseball, track and field, golf, bowling, etc.lol.

Now aTm will go back to having 6-8 win seasons without Manziel. Look at aTm's history.lol.

I'll look at the history, if you will....

How many of the past 15 years worth of A&M teams had the amount AND type of talent that we have/are pulling in right now?....

3 - 5* last year, and 3 - 5*'s committed this year with 2 more that are A&M leans.

More Talent = More wins.

Hit me up in a few years, and we'll see who was right.

Pretty solid when an entire conference finishes in the top half

Didn't every major conference finish in the top half?

I was going by the 125 FBS programs; so top half would be 62 (or 63 if you prefer). Based on this, the SEC is the only conference to have all programs in the top half.

For comparison's sake, here are some stats for the other major FBS conferences (# ranked below 62nd/# ranked below MSU/last ranked team):

ACC: 5/6 (Georgia Tech 89th)
B1G: 1/1 (Iowa 78th)
Big 12: 3/5 (Kansas State 99th)
PAC 12: 2/2 (Oregon State 75th)

I seem to recall a Mizzou troll starting a thread on what
UK brings to the table.
