And there isn't a single passage In the bible that states "thou shall not buy 5* recruits via a 3rd party bagman paying the mother."

Got to know and respect him while he was coaching here in my hometown at a small NAIA school. He was very well respected by the school and the town.

Going from a NAIA school of around 650 students to HC at a SEC school in 5 years or so is pretty dang amazing.

I didn't realize Hugh was supposed to be a magical healer that can touch a young man's heart and drive away all thought of evil doing from him forever. Hardy's an adult, he's going to do as he pleases, especially when his magic healer lives in another state and Hardy makes no effort to visit Ole Miss.

And on the first point, I think we both would rather be coaching Ole Miss than USM at this point. If USM was the SEC school and wasn't a dumpster fire, then I'd see what you're saying. He may love USM more than Ole Miss, but Ole Miss is his dream school to coach right now.

Yeah, let's state the obvious that anyone would leave for a job with higher earning potential in the pinnacle league of his or her profession.

It's like me applying for MBA programs in a few years. LSU has a very good program that's well respected, but if I got into a top 40 MBA program, I'm not choosing LSU on the basis of it being my alma mater.

Plus a lot of big donors at most schools didn't attend that respective school.
