All you have to do is check the situation in Georgia. Plenty of articles available online. Yesterday Georgia’s Republican governor ordered thousands of National Guard to hospitals throughout the state to help overrun hospitals and exhausted staff. The vast majority of those hospitalized are unvaccinated and young. A large proportion of older people in this state have been vaccinated. The problem for all of us - vaccinated or not- is that if you have an accident or a medical emergency you might not be able to get into the hospital. If someone needs cancer treatments or elective surgeries they will have to wait. The situation is even worse in Fla and Alabama and it is bleeding across our borders since a bunch of stupid or misinformed yahoo’s refuse to get vaccinated.

If you aren’t vaccinated I expect you will find out first hand what’s really going on soon enough. I hear things are bad and getting worse in Missouri. Good luck to you. Honestly.

Looked and I don't see any articles stating a lot of young people are being hospitalized with many dying. You and I both know that statement is nonsense. There is enough misinformation going around, you don't need to add to it.

Show one long term study on mRNA vaccines in humans? Let me save you time because one does not exist. The doctors have a good idea that it is safe but the fact remains that they do not know that it is safe for everyone. This was a risk reward situation and nothing more. You can call people stupid or misinformed all you want but that does not change the fact that this is an experimental vaccine that is being tested on the public. From the short term data that is available it looks to be safe but long term safety has not been established.

Good luck to everyone of course

I know the news says things are getting worse but nothing has really changed other than they've said things have changed. Knock on wood

Okay but if everyone’s vaccinated, who cares if it spreads? At that point you’re just passing around a cold.

Tell that to the 600,000 plus who have already died. Tell that to their loved ones. Tell that to the 30% or more who have survived only to be dealing with life changing health issues. . It’s obvious a lot of people have decided they are going to defy science and listen to conspiracy theories. We should pray for them as a lot of them won’t be here much longer unless they wake up, turn off Fox, haul their arse down to CVS and roll up their sleeve.

Um, I’m very much pro-vaccine. I’m talking about the negligible risk of the virus spreading among a vaccinated population.

What about the science that disagrees with your bought and paid for science? What about the thousands and thousands of doctors globally that are saying this is all bad science?

You think science is settled. They won't even allow a debate. It's no dialog. It is a monolog... a dictate. Nothing about the pandemic has been above board. They keep getting caught lying. They keep you from hearing the dissenting opinions from well credentialed experts. They have been forcing the issue instead of allowing people full access to information and allowing them to make the best choice. The fact is that you are just as likely, and according to recent research probably more likely to spread Covid if you have been vaxxed than not. So don't give me this, "do it for others or you will kill people" nonsense. If you believe that, you are nothing more than an emotionally driven and ignorant fool.

I believed that too until a couple of weeks ago. Since then I’ve personally known 3 fully vaccinated people who got covid. One died. My brothers coworker and his wife who were fully vaccinated both died within a few days of diagnosis. The man was older and had serious health issues but his wife was younger and had no known medical problems. It is effecting fully vaccinated people too. Some have mild symptoms but some like the people I mentioned don’t survive. Boosters should help once we can get them. But in the meantime we need to wear masks and avoid close contact especially indoors. My family and I were out and about, not wearing masks until we heard about these break thru cases. And yesterday our REPUBLICAN governor ordered thousands of National Guard into hospitals thru out the state. That should be a huge red flag to anyone who has been paying the least bit of attention. Gov Kemp while half heartedly advocating vaccines has done immense damage to this state with his refusal to mandate masks, closing the economy last year too late and reopening way too early, and his lapdog pandering to Trump who decided to use him as a scapegoat and then kicked him to the curb. Now he is desperately trying to get Trumps base back as he runs for reelection. To actually see him admitting that the state has a problem serious enough to call out the Guard is remarkable for a man who has pretty much turned his back on this state, refusing to endorse needed safety precautions, threatening counties who tried to protect people, and downplaying the virus that is now burning thru the state and filling our hospitals.
It’s real and it’s here. The mast majority of those effected are unvaccinated but the vaccinated are not completely safe either. Looks like even our governor has finally acknowledged that

Masks don't work, bro. They make things worse as has been concluded by study after study prior to 2020 when they scrubbed them and locked them behind pay walls. Many studies since have also shown this. Plus, places where masking is mandated ALWAYS ends up worse than the ones that don't. Open your eyes to real world data.

And you my friend are ignorant. The best scientific experts in the world are giving us their medical advice - backed up by extensive research, facts, years of education and experience studying pandemics, viruses and vaccinations. But sadly some people prefer to believe Tucker Carlson or some yahoo with a third grade education and a computer instead. Nothing is going to change most of these peoples minds. They have been brainwashed and no longer trust science. They hold these beliefs at their own risk. Unfortunately they are a huge danger to all of us as well. They fill up our hospitals and ICUs putting us at risk of not being able to receive needed medical care. They give the virus the opportunity to spread and mutate further increasing the chance a vaccine resistant variant could evolve. People are losing patience with these science deniers.
Long delayed mandates are starting and will be spreading. Finally they will have to choose between their cult like behavior or their job, their ability to attend events or eat in restaurants, etc. I heard that one major company will be charging an additional $200 a month for an employees insurance if they are not vaccinated. It’s about time!! We can’t let a small segment of this country put us all at risk

Risk of passing it on is premise of your post. Of which, I agree. How do we mitigate keeping it alive by passing it on…

So what are you doing / not doing to mitigate pass it on?

Cute little appeal to authority there kid. But unless you are wearing an N95 and changing it every day, you're punching in the air when it comes to Delta. Your little cloth mask doesn't do shite. And this is being admitted by people like Michael Olsterholm (Biden transition team member).

Have you looked at deaths per state and causes of death? Covid seems to cure an amazing number of people of a wide variety of illness. The same numbers are dying overall but now it’s Covid instead of heart disease or what not.

LSU saved themselves a lot of ticket cancellations, including mine, by allowing tailgating

Oh my. You are indeed a moron. You consider the one-sided propaganda that real world data completely obliterates as scientific fact? Wow. Just wow.

See, the thing is that I actually do trust science and what you are being fed right now is completely devoid of science. Let me ask you a question. Why would they have to spend so much time censoring highly credentialed and licensed professionals that disagree with the current "science" if their data was so sound? The fact that they feel the need to silence all discussion and debate shows that what they are feeding you is nothing more than a stinky pile of bullshite.

You, my friend, are the science denier. You also fit really well into the Nazi party.
