re: This was almost the worst season in the Miles era

Lots of trash talking in this thread. In the beginning of the season, most thought that LSU was an 8-4 team this year because of the mass exodus to the NFL, many of whom are already starters. LSU could have easily had a far worse record that they had at the end of the season. The Bama game was very hard played and we lost to Arkansas, largely due to the Bama hangover. Anybody who doesn't realize that is stupid.

We had far worse QB issues than anybody ever expected. It has been managed and it appears that we are going to move to a read-option based offense for next year. I'm okay with that.

From the start of the season to the finish, there was improvement in this football team. LSU will start next year with high expectations and will be in a much better position to compete for the West in 2015.
