When people start rolling over, I can't imagine a school that would have more of a chance of getting pinched than UK... based on the fact that there is no way these players are gonna play for free when it appears clear that there is a lot of $$$ out there.
I can and it's kansas. Also an Adidas school.
The FBI tip-line for NCAA corruption has just been opened. 212-384-2135.

ASM just got their computers seized and they have at least two ex U.K. Basketball players under contract

Let's be honest here, every major program should be worried right now, especially the adidas schools. The FBI is out for blood and won't stop until they find every piece of dirt they can. If you think you're in the clear because you think your coach doesn't have to cheat then you're deluding yourself. This will be the biggest scandal in history and a lot of heads are going to roll for it.

Not sure why you guys attack Cal. He's never been found to have committed any NCAA infractions.
Now Pearl on the other hand.....

Playing for Cal is a golden ticket to the NBA. The man got Josh Harrelson drafted for Christ sakes. When the vast majority of recruits are already hoping for a UK or Duke offer you don't have to pay.
I seriously doubt the top 5 guys are playing for free when the guy ranked around 20 plays for $100k.

With Mark Fox as our head coach, I am not the least bit worried. It might be the one real positive from his tenure.

Nike schools should be worried too. The Adidas guys know who and how much Nike (and Under Armour) paid. There's also bad blood between Adidas and Nike, so there are motivated witnesses even beyond the motivation to avoid prison.

We sure don't have to worry that our basketball team was cheating

Didn’t they say the investigation has been going on over a year? Do any of you actually think if they had any hint of UK being involved they would have made UK the headline here? They aren’t waiting on secondary investigations to take down the biggest fish. I’m comfortable.

You can still cheat, and win nothing, just ask Ole Miss.

No, but now they've filed charges against shoe company execs. That totally changes the game in terms of willing witnesses.

I used to follow cycling a great deal. This whole thing reminds me of the investigation that brought down Lance Armstrong. When federal prosecutors got involved, guys started flipping and when the house of cards fell, nobody was left standing.

There is already evidence that one of the coaches shaking down Adidas told them that they had to outbid one of the other shoe companies. Now that they have arrested the Adidas execs, they are likely gonna cut deals to save their own asses... at this point, if I was a fan of a school that gets a lot of really good basketball players, I'd prepare for the worst...

and the NCAA cleared coach Cal in both cases.
Was everyone who worked for Cal during these periods cleared as well?

The Miami-Arizona bidding war described in the report has potential. Arizona is a Nike school with an assistant coach already charged.
