Well, Mett certainly proved he can put up Heisman-like numbers in big games. Unfortunately (as Murray well knows) you have to actually win the big game to get Hesiman-like recognition.

JFF lost 2 last year and still nabbed one. Lets wait till the end of the season shall we. IMO he will be talked about, but won't get the nod.

The difference is JFF put up video game numbers both running and passing and beat the #1 team in the country toward the end of the year.
Mett still has a chance if he can do against Bama what he did against UGA, but anything short of that and he will be left out.

If mett keeps dropping 300 per game he will definitely be talked about. I just have a hard time believing, with how he looked last year, that he will get it. I would be pumped if he just gets an invite to NY. There are to Many "exciting" QB's out there with more hype than Mett.

LSU lost the game but Mett proved that he is just as good if not better than Murray. Mett will be better in the NFL due to his height/superior arm strength. Murray will make a great NFL back up QB. Heisman not out of the question for Mett. Will need to win out however to even be considered.
