So we are stupid for trying to get better?
Your point is idiotic.
Les has lost the lockeroom, we aren't even competitive.
How are we "stupid" for wanting to improve the team?

C'mon, the LSU Tigers...the Mizzou Tigers, I think it's meant to be!
And I would be perfectly cool with that just as long as Les understands he needs to hire a competent OC that understands 21st century offense. Our offense is putrid enough now.

Firing Les would be such a bad move.

No one is concerned about Fisher going to LSU. Because he's not.

You're right on one count. I don't care about your program, but I like good coaches and hate stupidity and it's running rampant with your fanbase.

Do LSU fans really think they are going to bring in someone that will start beating Saban and Bama on the reg.? Really?
Face it: as long as Saban is at Bama, he is going to own the SEC. It's like Bryant in his prime. Sure someone like Ole Miss may steal a win and Bama may drop a game in the playoffs to a hot team like tOSU last year, but pretty much the SEC will be Saban's bitch until he retires.
If ya'll fire Les, you damn sure better get the next hire right. Look at Tennessee or Florida for examples. It happened at Bama when we ran off Stallings and hired Dubose and it was 10 years of hell. Its easy to fire a coach but the next hire will be a crap shoot that you have no real idea what will happen.

LSU fans are probably the stupidest fans around. They don't realize what they're getting themselves into.
This team was never "that good" but they talked themselves up so much they deluded themselves into thinking they were indestructible. Of course, none of this would be happening if Alabama wasn't good. Stop comparing yourselves to Alabama people- it's a recipe for disaster. Ask Auburn and Tennessee about that. LSU's in for a long 5 years
Wise words. Florida just now recovered nicely. Tennessee may never be back.

So you're looking at easily over $20 million to fire Les.
Incorrect. The buyout is $15 million, and goes down to about $13 million if Miles is canned after Dec. 31. The buyout will be paid out over eight years, and would be reduced if Miles takes another job. The assistants have about $2 million guaranteed, but that money is already in the athletic dept budget whether or not a buyout takes place.

LOL. Some of the posts here make me wonder if anyone actually watched the last 3 LSU games. I could see defending Miles after last season, but there really can be no question that the program is headed in an unmanageable downward spiral.

Hahaha so you want to drag this out until after 12/31 to fire Les? Be ready for that move to backfire viciously.

You fired Charlie Mc Clendon for the same reason. Charlie has the same misfortune that Les Miles has, he came along at the wrong time.
Charlie could not beat Bear Bryant, and Les can't beat Nick Saban.
They both put solid teams on the field, but face it, no one in this conference is going to beat Alabama with any regularity when they have a good coach. You might win a game or two but at the end of the year the cream rises to the top, see Ole Miss.
Les could have been considered at the top of his profession had it not been for Saban at Alabama. Had we hired someone else Les would be riding high with 2 or 3 crystal footballs in the trophy case it would have been Pax LSU, who would have stopped you?
Not to mention he is a solid citizen, no scandal there hell I like the man myself. If you get rid of him Saban is going to come in pick the bones get the recruits and it will be MORE misery for the next few seasons.

When Miles is terminated be ready for even more disappointments. The LSU program will become a coaching carousel.

I'm not going to argue whether Miles should go or not. I understand what the LSU fans are saying and I understand what other programs' fans are saying. Both sides make legitimate points. But temper your expectations a little...you're not getting another Saban. There isn't another Saban out there to get.
