Is this going to be the newest nonsense LSU fan mantra?

Gundy would have LSU raining fire down on bama and the rest of the SEC in two years. But they will go ahead and hire somebody to install a power I offense and run it straight into bamas defense every year.

I'm not saying this to troll, in fact I kinda like LSU. But it's honestly more likely that you get an incompetent coach who will leave you fighting for bowls than it is that you get someone who's better than Les. Prior to 1/9/12, Les was a top 5 coach in the nation.

Does that mean the tiger rant is scared too?
Yeah right. Just hop on over there and read a few threads, Einstein. Fear everywhere.

You are correct. Les prior to 1/9/12 was a top 5 coach. The key word in that sentence is "was". Since that day I'd say he's anywhere from 20-25. And I like Les & supported him up until last year.

Such a dumb post. You really think the next guy will have more success than Miles?
It's not likely. LSU could potentially bomb this hire and be much worse off.

Truth. They keep the braggadocio up no matter what happens.

Ill admit it
Only coach's name ive seen on here with any nervousness associated with it are Chip Kelly,Gary Patterson and Mike Leach. Coaches whos offenses doesnt have an off switch who like to bury opponents. Killer instinct

I think the best option is to make Les let go of the offense and bring in the best OC you can buy.
This hasn't been talked about much as an option. It's been fire him or keep him. I think we need a complete overhaul from a coordinator perspective. Steele is just not going to get it done. If there is anyway to make Les simply a GM and hand complete offensive control over to an OC, it would make it more enticing to keep him. I'm not sure it's even possible to make someone as hard headed as Les to essentially give up all his duties though. His MO is to try and break your will doing it his way, even if it means getting your shite pushed in for 3 straight weeks. He would probably rather resign then let someone take his duties over.

I'm not ton concerned about being "much worse off" than 17-12 in the SEC over the last 4 years. If that's not the definition of mediocre, I don't know what is?

Vols will be making fun of your turf. Because you'll be too poor to have a groundskeeper or pay the water bill.
