Roy Kramer, the NCAA, Memphis Feds, Fulmer et al broke NCAA rules and the law to get Alabama. They should have all been locked up for RICO violations. UT was guilty as sin paying Tee Martin and that was a fact.

But call it Karma or whatever, Fulmer paid and UT is still paying for that little debacle. And it couldn't happen to a nicer bunch.

Fact huh? And of course, you can prove it, right?

It is a proven fact that Tee Martin was receiving money from Diane Sanford.

It is not a proven fact that she was a Tennessee booster. Despite attending several of their games, she did not attend there and nothing concrete links her to the program.

So I accept the conclusion from the NCAA...but you'd have a hard time convincing me that she wasn't a booster and that giving money to Martin had nothing to do with him playing for Tennessee.

There you go, you can speculate, but the FACT is that UT wasn't guilty of shite, despite what anti-barner says.

No body, no crime. It doesn't matter though, Tennessee has suffered the worst decade in school history, while Bama is in the midst of its best. Time to let it go.

Bama fans remember slights, injustices, and perceived wrongs going back generations like it just happened yesterday. Ask any Bama how they feel about Notre Dame.

Has Tennessee ever won a game against Alabama that was broadcast in HD?

It must suck having to go back to watch videos in 320p to see Tennessee beat Alabama.

Do you even college football bro??

Robbed...fricking ROBBED of titles in 1966 and 1977. 1966 was, without question, the biggest screw job in the history of college football.

LINK

Such a notorius screw job a best selling book was written about it.

LINK

After 66 Bama suffered a soul crushing loss in the 74 Sugar Bowl to split the 73 title. probably the worst most upsetting loss in the history of Bama football. We went on to lose to those frickers all through the 70's and got jobbed again in the polls for Notre Dame in 77

LINK

This is why Bama fans to this day hate Notre Dame and have a massive insecurity complex when it comes to those guys. All of this retroactive claiming of titles going back to the leather helmut days started becuase Notre Dame was the first to do it.

Nah, I got some left over because they also have a national championship more recent than Tennessee even without last year.

Never having to get Tennessee gear is a safe bet.

Yes.

ESPN began broadcasting in HD in March 2003. UT beat Bama in October 2006.

She was a booster. Read the definition in the rules. Being a season ticket holder makes you one. Being a known provider of benefits to a student athlete makes you one.

Neal Mc Cready was investigating this when he was in Mobile for the local paper and he will tell you straight up this was swept under the rug.

I had connections to the family and knew these folks. If they weren't UT Boosters there isn't such a thing.
