you should totally dominate us with McElroy keeping up his month long streak of throwing for less than 150 yards a game

you certainly have a point statistically. the game must be played, however, and anything can happen. our D will keep it close. we have excellent special teams and excellent receivers. the key, to me, is how ofter our coaches go to the well with the running game. if they insist on establishing one, our O will not be on the field very long and ya'll will probably wear our D out. if they admit we can't run and just run certain plays to keep ya'lls D honest, we definately have a shot. on the other hand, misques and turnovers could play a pivotal role. while our O miscues frequently (no matter who the D is), our D forces a lot of turnovers. on paper, ya'll should win as your forte' this year is wearing the opponents D out and ekeing out a victory.

Its gonna be a defensive battle. If Ingram breaks loose a few times bama wins. If LSU can bottle him up and JJ and our WRs have a solid outing, we have a chance.

Yea,Alabama's vaunted passing game is 84th in America.

We know our passing game sucks, that's not the point?

Yep, if we force turnovers we can win. That was just my opinion on the game, however I hope and will be cheering for a LSU to whip Bama.

Wow. A Bama poster giving our receivers some respect. Last year Lafell was about the 50th best receiver in the league and Tolliver wasn't even mentioned. Throw in Randle and you have a pretty goood set of receivers that would stack up with any team in the country (IMO). The key is giving Jefferson time and him having patience. It will be very difficult for us to run the ball against Bama. I believe your front seven is best in SEC.
All of this. We're going to have to get the passing game going to be able to run in this matchup. I predict JJ may have more ruhing yards at halftime than any other Tiger unless RS can break one off .

The x-factor could very well be someone like Randle who appears ready to step up and deliver a big performance. Almost every catch he has made this year came in big situations like 3rd and long.

How stupid is it to 'take out' the biggest play from scrimmage? I see this a lot. I just don't get it.

If you remove ONE field goal that Bama made, UT won. See how goofy that sounds?

I'm with you. I got into this argument over on the Rant a couple days ago. I ended up saying, "well if you take away our 4 TDs, then it's 3-3 going into OT." That got a rise.

I will say this: IF the game ends with a great play by Robbie Green defensing a pass to save the victory by Bama....I am NOT coming to this site for 2 weeks.

What about a Luther Davis sack?

I worry about BAMA's rushing attack and blitzes

If LSU can contain Ingram, and JJ can not get sacked a bunch..

LSU will win the game if they don't turn it over..

We need a fast start!

LSU is more talented on offense than the Tide...The stats don't indicate that, but when you watch both teams..It's obvious LSU has way more skill players.

Julio Jones will mostly be a non-factor in the game by LSU 's secondary..

You better pray Julio is a factor because Bama does better when he is not.

The offense plays better when he is not producing. More people get involved usually.

Any word on Peek? I just hope we play crisp like we did against Auburn. If we play well I have no problem losing.. besides.. when we play well we're as good as any team in the country.

When we don't play well..
