How exactly can you track these "revenge" games? Is there actually a stat for a coaches record the following year against a team they lost to the previous season. Seems out there. I know there's a stat for coaches record the immediate game after a loss.

I've seen the stats posted about Coach Saban's revenge games. I don't put much credence in it, considering his coaching philosophy. However, it was interesting to see how his teams have responded in those type of games. I believe Spurrier was the only coach to beat him twice in a row, since he's been a head coach in the SEC.

It's a stupid stat, being that it is commonplace for SEC teams to trade wins each season.
