Not necessarily, WR made Gus look dumb before and after Cam. Teebow didn't do so well without Harvin.
It wasn't a running big QB that was the problem as much as a speedy running back to compliment said QB, Kansas State didn't seem to have this type of running back, if they do, they should have tried using them...

We might have done well but i'm not sure we would have played this well.
Also did you notice that tonight petrino was pretty content with a low key offense and relying on the defense a lot more than normal? The deep ball was there frequently when we had the time in the pocket. I figured he would have just bombed all night on them.

Don't get ahead of yourselves with this season. You guys were mediocre but benefited from a poor schedule (as I said in a previous thread but don't remember which one now). You got destroyed by the only 2 quality teams that you played (by a combined 42 pts) and didn't even compete in those games. OK I take that back. You guys did manage to compete for the 1st qtr. of the LSU game until you pissed them off enough for the to COMPLETELY dominate the last 3 qtrs. (If only we played 2 instead of 4 qtrs of football is something you guys can scream along with Oregon, WVU and Georgia.)
Ar-Kansas ALMOST blew a win against an AVERAGE Kansas St. Team and now we have to hear all offseason about how Ar-Kansas is finally going to win the SEC.
Mediocre will stay mediocre (3rd in the West and another mid bowl game net year for the pigs)

Not sure if many people realize how big Courtney Gardner(JUCO WR) is going to be coming in next year. Seriously will probably be our number one guy. As fast as Joe and very agile and has the size of Cobi and Childs. He's something to look forward to.
We may be in for a number of position changes and shuffling on D as well as Haynes finds out where guys fit into his system best.

People aren't questioning your offense. That will always be stout with CBP at the helm. But until y'all get "Good" depth on D it will always be the same. Your starters are good and proved that but your depth year in year out on D is always inexperienced and not where it needs to be to contend for a BCSNC. Some decent recruiting should start to change that.

I would just like Ar-Kansas to actually accomplish something before their fans come beating their chests about "next season we will be the greatest thing the SEC has ever seen" in the offseason. (just like last year and the year before that)

I will never claim the Cotton Bowl as a good year for LSU.
But what is Ar-Kansas' highlight year from the last decade? I guess it would be making the Sugar Bowl and losing to OSU right?
