Jarrett Stidham has already proven himself against the Auburn second team defense which is better than half of the SEC's first team defenses. The guy is legit.

It's funny how worked up you've been over this when at least talent wise that could be easily verified by recruiting rankings. Our second team also has a lot of game experience with how much we rotate.
We had one of the top defenses the entire country last season and there was very little drop off when backups rotated in.
The statement is actually not unreasonable at all.
