Notre Dame’s winningest head coach in school history and Alabama hires a guy that’s only been a P5 head coach 2 years?!?!
No one can deny how great what Saban has done at Alabama is but never kid yourselves. It was Saban not your school. This hire proves it

There are only so many "dynasty" type coaches that come along. This is a stop gap while Bama searches for the "next Saban". I suppose this guy could turn out to be wonderful. However, the Pac 4 competition isn't exactly something to brag about on a resume.

But there is no way he is going to he worse than Harsin was. The Good Ol Baws in Tuscaloosa saw Harsin frick up so much that they aren't going to leave a recruit at the airport or not go to Bo Jackson's golf charity event, or skip meetings with high school coaches.
And Saban will still be in the picture.
