Anyone see that

I've seen some things being thrown on the field but didn't know what it was. I thought it was a late flag on that last TD run by LF.

They've been doing that for years.

Goddammit, I hate those idiots. Even when you beat the frick out of them, the still manage to be arse wipes.

Yep. The SO said they did when they played in the Cotton Bowl vs. Ole Miss a few years back too.
LSU fans need to one up 'em and start throwing boudin.

Not a TT fan by any stretch but I think that's kinda harmless and cute.

saw another one on the kickoff

It's all harmless until someone loses an eye over a stale tortilla.

Or until they break the batteries out

What is the story behind the tortilla tossing?
Posted on 12/29/15 at 9:42 pm to BluegrassBelle
I hadn't thought of that.

Would be better if they'd toast them and sprinkle some cinnamon and honey on first

I wish someone would toss me one of those right now. 10 second rule if it happens to hit the ground.

I've heard two stories. One comes from the late 80s and students used to throw coke tops on to the field and it just evolved into tortillas since they would be used in tailgating. The other comes from when they played us in 92 and we were a top 10 team and the TV guy said there was nothing in Lubbock but a tortilla factory. I think their sb nation blog did a write up of it

I'm no Texas Tech expert but I've seen them play long enough to know they've been doing that forever.
