Nothing wrong with being positive... But LSU is a step below Bama as of now... They could keep it close. but Bama will find a way to win... The most important issue with this game is line O-line play... Bama has a much better o-line than LSU... I don't care that LF7 got 284 yards last night... Take away his long td runs, and its just a normal night... He WIL NOT get yards like that against Bama...

One of these things is not like the other.

You are correct. One is relying on a running version of Brandon Harris at QB.

There in lies the problem... You guys have two losses.

Coach O is undefeated doe (sarcasm)

Crazy shite happens in CFB all the time. Just off the top of my head:

Ohio State got in over Baylor/TCU in '14
Alabama got a rematch in '11
LSU got in the BCSNCG in '07
The whole end to the '01 season

If LSU beats #1 Alabama, wins at Arkansas, beats UF which will probably be a top 10 team in Nov, and wins at A&M which could be a top10 team on Thanksgiving and then wins the SECCG (assuming that Auburn losses to Alabama). LSU the SEC champion and be undefeated since it fired Les Miles, and that might be enough for the committee to put LSU in the playoffs over a one loss Big12 or one loss PAC-12 champ. It is a long shot, but it is still a possibility.

If LSU can win out including the SEC championship game, you can't tell me they won't make the playoff. Look at the body of work that entailed. Look at the 2 early season losses to ranked opponents. Look at how the team has played since Miles was fired. Now, with that said, the biggest challenge will be beating Bama. Also, Auburn will have to lose another SEC game.

They would need a lot of help to make the playoffs.

They are not jumping any 1 loss conference champion.

Plus what if Wisconsin is still with 2 losses, they would be in over LSU.

Undefeated Boise state is in over a 2 loss champion.

No we didn't forget about anything... The fact is the two teams we lost to were by a different HC and they aren't doing so bad these days. It's not a coincidence that the teams that beat LSU are sky high and the teams that lose are so beat up mentally after they lose the next game or two. LSU has that affect on people apparently. LSU also had the hardest schedule in the country left so if we make it through that and win the SEC, LSU WILL be looked at for a spot in the NC game. Sorry your butt hurt about reality but that's reality and was said over and over on national TV last night. So I guess they are just homers also? LSU is setting records now that Les is gone, this isn't coiensedence either. We are shutting teams down completely in the second half of every game. OM scored more on bama then they did on LSU. LSU is much more complete now and still haven't played a complete game so imagine if and when they do play that complete game how good LSU will be!! GT

If LSU wins out and wins the SEC championship game they'll grab a New Years 6 bowl. Possible top 4, don't rule it out. Alabama is definitely going to be a struggle though; they look better this year than I've seen in a couple of years.

Is there anything about Alabama that doesn't impress you? Just wondering, cause if there ever was a college team that looked unbeatable, it's surely these guys and their coaching staff. A freshman QB that plays like a Heisman QB, and how does a defense score that many times consecutively, it simply is unheard of?

Then there's LSU, who appears to be playing championship style football better than anyone else in college on both sides of the football, except for Bama. How does anyone stop their tremendous duo of running-backs, now that LSU is spreading your defense out thin and has a credible passing attack. This new style of offense by LSU now leaves Fournette in open spaces one on one to tackle, tell me why that isn't a nightmare. Better DVR this one, there will be incredible hits inflicted on both sides.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Why would LSU make it in over 1 Loss Louisville?

Bama's O-line isn't much better than LSU's, Mr. Daisy Dukes of Hazzard. The most important issue is twofold, LSU has a more spread and less predictable offense, and the LSU crowd is back with a vengeance more intimidating than ever for this LSU home game Saturday night in Tiger stadium. With a freshman QB, Bama could not have a picked a worse set of circumstances to be in.

It's almost like Bama fans forgot, this isn't Les Miles' offense anymore, and it isn't Chief's defense anymore. It's a new LSU team, and it's one scary son of b*tch.

You have much to be proud of with Bama, they show no weaknesses. If LSU puts it on Bama and wins out, LSU will be the hottest team in college football bar none, and will have earned their right of being in a playoff.

TrueTigerTale - LSU's football team and LSU fans in Tiger Stadium are about to show Bama what the new Tiger stadium atmosphere is like. Miles nearly sucked the life out of Tiger Stadium, Orgeron and the new style LSU offense have resuscitated it. Beware son!
