With all the advantages the offense has over the defense in today's game, a much better job of calling holding would help level the playing field, to say the least.
I'm all for "letting them play" as long as it doesn't literally handcuff the defense.
These blow - out 60+ point games are getting ridiculous.
Yeah that's what football needs, 10 yard penalties every other play. That will make it fun to watch for the fans.

I have watched games where holding penalties were not called against bama and then LSU has a hold away from the point of attack and gets called. I would just like them to be consistent.
