Rory Anderson had pretty much this exact catch vs Florida the other night.

I'm surprised ESPN hasn't done one of those "Profiles in Courage" on this courageous young man.

It was a career ending injury, to an extremely talented player. Of course it's not looked upon lightheartedly by fans of the team he played for.

It's all about the context.. If the thread title read "Worst Sports Injuries", sure. But this was just a fan of a school being trash, as if the injury somehow negates the talent and greatness of the catch he made.

Aubie catch was from a terrible throw that landed perfectly in the hands of a WR who would have otherwise been no where near the ball.

It's almost embarrassing; but was a spectacular way to win.

Nor should it be by anyone. He's a great kid, and he lost it all. I would feel the same for any player that happened to regardless of team. WarEagle3 and (to a lesser extent here) Hugo are great examples of what sucks in this country these days and can go frick themselves. Call me a pussy all you want.

It bothers me hearing it referred to as a "play," as though Marshall knew the only way he could get Louis into that position was to force the ball off the defenders hand in such a way that it would deflect 5 yards forward.

Actually, having typed it out, I'm choosing to see it this way. It makes it less heartbreaking that we more or less gave Auburn the assist

Not sure what your point is. Before I read this, I lessened my tone in regards to Hugo as I think it was unfair in regards to what he said, and also overly dramatic. The point stands for WarEagle3. That's just trash behavior and I'm glad I don't associate with that caliber of person in my day to day life. Cheers to the overwhelming, normal Auburn fans on here.

That was a play Gus had been saving. All it does is make bama's staff work extra hours trying to figure out how to defend it.
