This is a goofy thread idea, but I love music and I want to see what you all suggest.

What song seems ideal for each SEC town as you're driving in for a football game on a Saturday?

Tuscaloosa, AL: Sweet Home Alabama - Lynyrd Skynyrd, 1974

Knoxville, TN: Copperhead Road - Steve Earle, 1988

Starkville, MS: Small Town - John Mellencamp, 1985

Baton Rouge, LA: Johnny B. Goode - Chuck Berry, 1958

Athens, GA: Love Shack - B-52s, 1989

College Station, TX: All My Exes Live in Texas - George Strait, 1987

Lexington, KY: Blue Moon of Kentucky - Bill Monroe, 1945

Gainesville, FL: Free Fallin' - Tom Petty, 1989

Nashville, TN: Down on Music Row - Dolly Parton, 1973

Colubmbia, SC: (anything by Hootie and the Blowfish)

Oxford, MS: Oxford Town - Bob Dylan, 1963

Auburn, AL: Alabama Pines - The 400 Unit, 2011

Fayetteville, AR: Arkansas - Glen Campbell, 1969

Columbia, MO: Middle of Nowhere - Hot Hot Heat, 2005

This is pretty bad. Although the beginning of list isn’t bad.... this should be Oxfords..

LINK

This is true music, full of talent, and probably the future of music.

Starkvegas should be the SNL classic from Blue Oyster Cult “Don’t Fear the Reaper”

with Will Farrell (More Cowbell) w/producer Bruce Dickinson. The best ever SNL skit.
