And that's with OU/UT not joining so I'm sure it'll get even moved farther out before they make the trip.

And in 2022, Florida will be making it's 3rd.

It will also be their 2nd in 3 years for Florida.

Yet, UGA has only played them once since expansion. How in the hell does that happen?

No idea. The schedule has not been remotely consistent.

I believe that the OP is just stating facts. I didn't hear any crying except that the facts show that the SEC scheduling has favored the mutts in this case.

He is just stating facts. Why would anyone complain about playing ATM? I know we're glad to have that W on the schedule.

I agree it’s weird and less than ideal.

Covid schedule? I don’t know.

This thread doesnt feel like a melt honestly.

even Dawg fans should be able to admit that its really weird that you guys have only played them 1 time and never at their place.

Maybe. Won’t the schedule change again when ZeroU and Texass join?

Why don't you ask the SEC schedule rotation makers that question?

I've heard it lamented in Athens numerous times, but the A&M folks acting like UGA is scared is ridiculous. UGA doesn't control the scheduling.

Maybe you need to ask the people in charge of scheduling conference games. It's not Georgia or Georgia fans.
And while it's a little strange...so what?
It's not like we're avoiding some conference powerhouse.

Florida has been avoiding going to Auburn since the expansion, Auburn has been a much better program than A&M during that timeframe.

The current scheduling rotation only started in the 3rd year after expansion. So Florida's 1st trip to College Station wasn't part of it. They were picked to give A&M a big "First game in the SEC".

The last Florida trip to College Station was the Covid year, when every SEC team had 2 extra conference games added that weren't part of the original schedule.

So this is the only Florida trip to College Station that was planned by the current scheduling rotation.

Now, when they made that rotation, why did they put Georgia's trip to College Station after Florida's trip, given that Florida had already made the trip? I don't know.

Yeah, I live near Athens and all the Georgia fans around here complain about not getting a trip to Kyle.
