I thought he got benched that game. Two late picks

It might've been two late fumbles.

Yea it looks like Gargia fumbled twice and got hurt on the second. Then Shaw came in and threw the picks

The RB from Mississippi state who started the "grinding" phenomenon for state fans.

Nah, he was okay. His receivers couldn't catch a cold that year.

there is no way quincy was the worst player to have an excellent day against LSU. I meant he guy was SEC freshman of the year that season and was a 2nd round draft pick.

ery quarterback for the last three years. If they were good they great. If they were average, they were great. If they were bad, they were really good.
I think we were responsible for at least 50% of any qb's highlight reel.
Eg, Kyle Allen

Those 2 times lsu with Kevin Faulk and miss st with their running backs beat spurrier in the mid to late 90's
I know Faulk is not shitty and Msu went to atl that year but they were some shocking losses and great games played by under manned teams
He wasn't just "not shitty". He was a nationally heralded recruit, is one of the best players in SEC history , and went on to have a long and successful NFL career. Really does not belong in this thread.
Not to mention those teams had several all Americans and spent time in the top 10.

Did he set the record against USC? I thought he was gonna be an all American but it didn't take him long to find his true colors.

Yeah, and it'll probably stand for a long, long time.

Stephen Garcia actually had a better game at Auburn in 2010 the week before he played at home against Alabama.
he played extremely well on the plains but also had a couple late fumbles
the way he was dropping dimes on Bama's defense, and standing tall in the face of some scary defenders, was unbelievable
