The whole "DBU" thing

Who cares? What fan actually invests in these kinds of titles? Also, these titles seem to shift constantly, so I don't see the point in Florida and LSU fans/players fighting over a title that means next to nothing. I see how it could be a recruiting tool, but the bottom line is it's not something that actually exists. Maybe someone can help me understand why it's so important?

I think it's a waste of energy by our fan base. We could be doing something productive, like drinking.

Who is fighting over it? I see friendly ribbing but don't really care myself. Both schools put out some incredible athletes at DB.
I saw VH3 and Jamal going back and forth a bit, but they are buddies. It's all in good fun to them as well.

It doesn't matter if your lineup is Mark Barron Patrick Peterson Darrell Reevis and Deion Sanders......if you don't have a pash rush, your defensive backfield is garbage.

Why do aggies feel the need to butt in on a thread about defense? They don't even play defense in college station. This is a Florida-LSU thread, two schools that actually succeed on defense. If we wanted a thread about gimmicky offenses that live or die by short passes, then we'd put you in a thread with Tulsa or okie state. Go away now little aggie, the big boys are talking
