You mean when he had a press conference today and apologized and said everyone handled it wrong?

You guys realize he was diagnosed and is actually injured, right?

Well you did post a link to a Detroit draft site. It's not like they have been the poster child of draft busts or anything.

some people need a good coal-cocking to the ribs

Sandra Bullock in Demolition Man ... "that's cold cocking, cold cocking."

Origin circa 1918 ... a "cold cock" was a piece of pipe used to knock someone unconscious - often associated with being "shanghaied" to duty on a ship bound for the Orient out of San Francisco. The pipe most often used was a short piece torn from a wall supplying water, known as a "cock valve" outlet.

It's hard to weigh in on the situation, except that regardless of whatever the truth is...the perception is that he's a prima donna frickhead.

If I were a South Carolina fan, I'd be pissed about it. SC doesn't need this type of negative attention during conference play.

Yes, Clowney is the only Defensive player ever in the history of College Football to ever get double-teamed, chipped, etc. There absolutely has never been any other stud D-Linemen that ever had to deal with such hardships, much less still find a way to excel.

Poor Clowney...

Sort of like how Manziel acted like he's the only person to ever get a parking ticket?

Injured =/= quitting

Bruised ribs and a muscle tear and not playing in the offseason - Not a vagina

Whining about a parking ticket on Twitter during the offseason? 14 year old girl bitch.

I'd rather have a player with some good ol' Texas fire in his belly than some out of shape never-was.

Too bad this ain't an NFL forum and I'm not a big NFL fan. Don't give a shite how his "draft stock" looks. I like College Football.

except that he's suffering from Derrick Rose vaginitis

Good thing he had that. Rose looks just as explosive as ever and will probably be 105% compared to 2011. He could've come back like RGIII and the media would've said he came back too early.

Either way, Clowney is still a top 3 pick. You'd be stupid not to take him if you need a DE(Falcons I'm looking at you).

Except for a complete lack of conditioning, being a poor teammate, and general laziness.
