Not at all my friend. I think it is, however, a combination of things though that has brought on this discussion. LF was regarded as the undisputed best RB in HS last year and possibly the best in many years. Chubb was considered by most to be a very good back but not a great back who would make an immediate impact in this conference. The only people expecting anything noteworthy from Chubb, as a freshman, were UGA fans tied into these types of boards who were hearing and reading the chatter from the players and coaches when practice began. Even we could not have expected this and I am sure that we would not be having this discussion had Gurley not had the autograph saga and Sony Michel would have stayed healthy. Chubb was our #3 RB until game five. Even in his limited time in the first few games, he had "holy crap" moments like when he kept plowing through tackles after his helmet came off in game one vs Clemson. But all that told us was that we had a stable of riches at the position and Chubb was still #3. After game 5, until now, he has been dominant in every game. Folks talk about teams stacking the box against LSU but ignore that teams have stacked the box against UGA all year as well. If we switched players, I don't see LF having the same type of numbers that Chubb has had. Chubb has demonstrated every trait that you beg for in an elite RB. From blocking, to receiving. From burst, power, vision, cutting ability and instinct to durability and back end speed. LF has great potential and might end up being the better RB in 2 years but he is not right now. And that's just an honest assessment. Chubb, if he can remain healthy, will likely end his career as #2 on UGAs all time rushing list behind Walker. Heck, he would be around 1800 yds right now if he had started the first 5 games.

Holy wall of text.
It really chaps your hide that Fournette, not Chubb, is getting compared to your hero.

Walker ran over a guy who ended up being an NFL Pro Bowler.
Fournette ran over a guy who will not.

LF is just the latest in a long line of over hyped LSU players.
With LSU having the most in the NFL, the line can't be that long.
Hell even the 3rd string receiver made the NFL roster.

I believe Chubb is a better all-around back at this point but not by much. Not sure about the dawgs but LF has run behind 5 different OL's this year due to suspensions and injury. He has lead the team in carries in only half of their games and played through his own injuries a couple of times. He is also an excellent receiver. I think Chubb is a better blocker and makes better cuts, speed is very close and LF is a bit stronger. Two guys that will have great SEC careers, barring major injury.

Penis envy to the fullest.
Arkie beat lsu guys. You're superior. Don't waist so much energy on a non-competitor. Lsu can't hold your jock straps.
Arkie to the ship in 2015!

What are you spouting off about Dick breath? You just display your ignorance and millennial attention span when you openly admit that a paragraph is to much for you to read.

LSU fan sure seem upset that LF hasn't lead them to the promise land as most thought he would.

I agree Randy. Chubb has been fortunate to run behind the best UGA line in many years.

Well it did look like something written by Tolstoy considering its a message board

To me it seems that LF just runs straight ahead too often and is willing to punish the opponent at the sake of extra yards. I haven't seen Chub that much, but he looks good from I have seen.

Will any of this matter in two years when Chubb is rehabbing his 2nd ACL/MCL injury?

When all you look is the type of play, I can see how you'd come to that conclusion.

Most thought the Tigers would win 9 or 10 games, including a bowl win, this year. Pretty much where they're winding up. They will win more next season and beyond. 15th consecutive season of at least 8 wins does lead the nation, btw.
