He has redeemed himself like few others and is a pillar of the communty...and has been since he went to Blinn. Hes having fun and his energy is infectious. You are just to blind with hate to see it.

Son, you're too blind with stupid to realize reality. I'm one of the biggest Cam fans on this board. But, you're sounding like the morons at ITAT that thought winning one championship in 2010 would bring a dynasty of greatness to Auburn.

Cam is clearly the best player this season, that doesn't make him the greatest in the game. Take your orange and blue glasses off Doofus.

EASY there big guy. He's not even in the top 5 right now. He is on a team with a really good defense and doesn't turn the ball over.

Maybe not. But he is easily the MVP.

Cam wasn't even a top 5 QB this season. He barely finished in the top 10 in passing yards and passer rating and wasn't even in the top 10 in completion percentage this season. When Ben Roethlisberger won Super Bowls with stacked defenses, there wasn't one person who said he was the best QB in the NFL. So why is Cam suddenly this legendary QB for doing the same?

I love all of the SEC players in the pros...it's a source of pride IMO.

Me too!

I also thank God we do not have to play them the next season...

I hope D Henry has a long and successful career in the pros, and am glad his arse will not be crushing us again next year, now he is the problem of NFL defenses!

Best QB in the game?! Borderline Top 5 after this year and a solid campaign for the MVP but he's not the best QB in the game.

just so we're all clear on this Super Bowl player from our school circle jerk

I need you all to remember that this will mark the 17th straight year a Purdue Boilermaker will be playing in the Super Bowl

that's right

I give him credit because he stuck with it. He has been a good QB but far from the build up of being "great". This year he has been "great", but lets see if he can keep it going moving forward now. I agree, being great is not defined by one great year.

But breaking records as a freshman most likely winning MVP and getting to the Super Bowl is a pretty damn good start.

Really not a fan of Cam's attitude. I dislike Tennessee far more than I even care about Auburn, but Peyton Manning is a respectable individual who plays with class. I cannot say the same about Cam Newton. I would not want my children to emulate him.

I'm happy two former SEC quarterbacks are starting in the Super Bowl. It's nice to see lots of SEC players having success in the league. I don't really have a favorite NFL team, so I don't really get invested in wanting any particular team to win. Usually I would cheer for teams from the south in the Super Bowl, but I am going to cheer for the Broncos this year because I would like for Peyton to win another one. Has very little to do with Cam. If the Patriots had beaten the Broncos I would be going for the Panthers.

Cam is a baller and I enjoy watching him, but by necessity he is the enemy for the next 2 weeks.

Apparently you and I and many others are just too old fashioned and need to get with the 21st century. According to a Cam fan yesterday. The days of going out, doing your job, and not forcing yourself to be in the limelight like Cam are the days of old like when they "played with no helmets."

I like players to be a bit respectable to their opponent. Not show boating every time you do something positive. Nothing wrong with being excited but a calculated response is a whole other back of wax.

Is Cam still an Auburn football player or does he now play pro ball?

It's hard for me to tell because the Auburn fans act like he's still a student at Auburn, which is a school.

Are you serious? Most Alabama fans I know are fans of Cam at Carolina. Just because you dont like someone in college doesnt mean you can't like them in the nfl.
You morons want everyone to dislike Cam so bad. No one cares what he did over half a decade ago at Auburn. Water under the bridge. Three national titles since will make you forgot about all that.

Mine was #17. And I'm guessing I'm not the only Barner to do so.

Good point. He graduated six months ago, so he's now an alumnus, not a student.
