Arkansas just bailed UK out, I’m not sure how anyone objective doesn’t see that?

Calipari was almost fired after their tournament loss and now everyone can move on without an ugly termination or massive buyout.

Maybe Cal works out at Arkansas, but this was an absolute gift to UK.

Yup. This feels like A&M stealing Jimbo from FSU except obvious.

Wrong.

1. It’s a big win for UK and their athletic department.
2. It’s a big win for Arkansas.
3. It’s a big win for the next coach of Kentucky who will get the best job in basketball.

It’s only a loss for schools that have not invested in facilities and their coach gets poached.

Wait until it comes out that Hunter knew who Kentucky would go after and decided to show interest in him to lock him into a brand new, updated contract before taking Cal off Kentucky's hands.

If I'm UK I'm relieved more than anything. Cal had the same problem that Nick had the last few years in that the kids aren't responding to your style of coaching the way they used to. With NIL and the portal it's a different time. Players have all the power. Coaching is a dying profession in college. Now it's more scout leader.

Read where Cal was seriously interested in the Ohio State job but it was bad timing because of the tournament. So, he wanted out back in February.

This will be good for both schools. Arkansas has NIL over $5 Million for Cal to work with. We have 1 player on the roster. So, portal power here we come
and maybe he can bring a player or two with him.

Barnhart didn’t even try to counter offer. He was tired of Cal’s antics.
