Are we on a mission to make it progressively uglier every year? I feel like every year it looks different and it's always terrible.... used to have both school logos on the top...guess they hacked that off? This rivalry didn't need a trophy.....but the frick?

Yep, it does look hs wood shoppish. And the flower looks like it needs a good cleaning.

Can't decide which is worse, that ridiculous trophy or "The Boot."
Whatever students decided the LSU/OM game needed a name and trophy should feel embarrassed. The unnecessary naming of the rivalry aside, the trophy looks like something awarded to a high school team for winning a district title with a flower attached.
The OP is also the not even the original version of the trophy. Each new "improvement" looks dumber than the previous version, the current version looking like décor bought at Cracker Barrel

oh god, I thought the top was added later. So they just took that trophy and thought, "yeah, let's just saw off the top." "Anything else we want to change or add?" "Nope, that looks good."

I know the flower broke off on the second version of it (the boxy looking one above) which I believe is why it was replaced. Maybe something similar happened to the current one where a chunk of wood was broken off - break out the Skilsaw and hope no one notices.
Neither this nor the Boot need to exist.

I'm pretty sure they went to a mall Kiosk and asked the wood burning/name on belt guy to do a special project.

looks like a trophy toppled over, and they put a cigar box on top to hide it.......and then a flower to dress it up.

How little of thought and creativity could be given to a rivalry trophy? Glued a few pieces of wood together and called it a day.

The only thing I like about the "Magnolia Bowl" trophy is the fact there's a different one every season.
