Heard a rumor that the high schools in Texas may start playing this football stuff.

Perhaps they can get a dozen or so people to show up on a Friday night.

It's worth a try.

FWIW Auburn people are in this group. We like being good at football, but I don't think it'd be fun if I never got over the "suicidal from losing" stage.

I certainly don't understand the behavior of bama fans when they lose. Of all the SEC teams, the bama fan is the biggest embarrassment to the conference.

Bama folks seem to equate football with real life and take the game personally, as a life issue. That's twisted thinking, IMO.

This year's Iron Bowl may very well decide the West yet again. Could be an interesting Malzahn-Saban saga coming up these next few years.
