How could anyone forget:

the infamous 2003 "Jetgate" incident in which a number of officials flew to Louisville to interview Bobby Petrino while Tuberville prepared his team to face Alabama in the Iron Bowl.

There is no great shortage of embarrassing administrative debacles in SEC history. The LSU one is bad, but there have been worse. Alleva should be demoted to a position he is more suited for, that much is certain. Bathroom attendant possibly?

it's still hard to say, the reporting out of COMO has been such shite quality of late that we don't know what Mack Rhoades knew about the "player strike" and when he knew it. If he supported garythedumbass pinkel in his whateverthefuk decision making, then Rhoades should be fired along w/ Pinkel.

Mizzou is a bigger shitshow and will suffer longer term implications. I actually feel bad for their fans. I don't think ANY supported what occurred. Of course, it was more the university president. The coach was in a bind, and made the wrong choice. The AD remained mute.

As far as AD debacle, LSU takes the cake. #lesmilesmatters

Should there be a trophy? Something like an office desk with 3 legs?

LSU and Miles are at a fork in the road.
How can Miles effectively recruit now that the reasons for keeping him are now known? What happens next year if LSU repeats this year's performance? Will the PTB at LSU once again start looking for his replacement? What about the season after that?

Miles will now be a lame duck coach for the coming seasons because imo he only was able to keep his job because Fisher backed out. Recruits will be told Les won't make it another 4 years if he keeps producing the same record over the next 2 seasons.

90% of which was from speculating ESPN, CBS, and Message Boards. Very little came from LSU or FSU.

Actually, I have to rate the Texas acquisition of Nick Saban up there. That was a blown deal of the century. I think a lot of the same shite happened here.

The same way Saban did with ongoing rumors of him going to Texas or back to the NFL and record of never having stayed anywhere longer than 5 years?

Such a debacle.
LSU has a stirring victory and is first story on ESPN.
Fans give Les standing O and stay behind to salute him and chant his name.
He sings Alma Mater with players. Viewers at home love the moment.
LSU gets to "do the right thing". Awwww it all worked out in the end...
Les Miles revealed as greatest "character guy" in CFB.
Player/Team/Coach/Program unity and loyalty on display.
A glow of goodness and light envelopes the program.
AD revealed as douchy AD-type-like every other AD.Who cares...
The script flips, the Narrative becomes pro-Les, pro LSU football, pro-Apple pie.
Recruits and families eat it up. Realize how great LSU culture is. Top class awaits.
Young team returns motivated and ready to "play for Les".
SEC Rant eaten up with resentment and hate revealed as small, small trolls.
If that's a "debacle" give me one every year.
Les is staying, and you shite the bed for a week about LSU.
All for nothing, Terry.
Deal with it.

Pimp, you know I love you. I have been extra harsh on your administration this week. You cannot say they didn't deserve it. I'm absolutely nonplussed by how this has played out. I know I shouldn't care, but I have many connections in the LSU universe. You simply cannot disagree with my assessment. frick aTm.
