Damn, he's fatter than I originally thought. No wonder they had to limit his carries in junior college this year. I really doubt he will hold up too well in Malzahn's uptempo offense.

Worldbeater Roc Thomas might eclipse 500 yards this year with all the action he'll see while Robinson is gassed on the bench midway thru the first quarter

I bet Auburn has tripled Tennessee's amount of rushing yards when counting the 2013 and 2014 seasons, maybe even quadrupled. Auburn's rushing game is among the nation's best while Tennessee's sucks.

Please don't ever go to Vegas. Tripled or Quadrupled is laughable.

I know what the stats are but I'll let you waste your time comparing. I'll be waiting for your results in your next post. :)

Actually TT, how much do you want to bet that Auburn has not tripled or quadrupled Tennessee's rushing total in 13 or 14?

Maybe tripled was a stretch, but Auburn did double their rushing total. Let's also keep in mind that Auburn still has a game to play and they will definitely rush for around another 250-300 yards against Wisconsin.

Auburn rushed for 4,596 yards in 2013 and 3,102 in 2014. A total of 7,698.

Tennessee rushed for 1,620 yards in 2014 and 2,261 in 2013. A total of 3,881.

Like I said before, Tennessee's rushing game is shite while Auburn's is among the nation's best.

Why do you believe that Roc Thomas failed to put up a season like Artis-Payne's 2013 season when he was the backup? Just curious. as it lack of carries?

Because we rushed for roughly 1,500 yards less (and still lead the SEC in rushing). Corey Grant didn't even match his numbers from the previous year.

Auburn literally had twice as many rushing yards this year. 255 yards a game to 135 yards per game

Umm........

And Auburn played 2 more games in 2013 and how many more attempts did they have?

Yes, TRIPLED was illogical and QUADRUPLED was worse than that. How much do you want to bet though?

1) Thomas was a TF while CAP was a JUCO transfer already in his early 20s.

2) The coaches split reps between Mason, CAP, & Grant at the beginning of '13 because they didn't know what each one brought to the table during gametime. Mason took over full time at about the TAMU game and CAPs role diminished significantly.

This year they already knew what the RBs on the team brought while Thomas was still an unknown, so CAP was the starter from beginning to end.

Offensive line will be determining factor of how good AU's offense is next season. Doesn't matter how good the backs are if the line doesn't block with any consistency. Dismukes will be as big a loss off of that line as Robinson was this past season.

Didn't Mason rush for 1,000+ yards under Loefler?

Yes he did.

I'm not sure what that has to do with him fitting into Gus's offense as a full-time starter tho.

Let's also forget that Auburn's YPC was higher than Tennessee's. It wasn't close.

How much are we betting from your claim that you'd bet Auburn had triple or quadruple the rushing yards than Tennessee in 2013 and 2014?

I'm in for whatever amount you decide. :)

Exactly, Bo Jackson couldn't have broken 1200 yards with our offensive line this year.

Alvin Kamara

You know he wasn't even 4th string at Bama so he transferred, right?
Yeldon, Drake, Henry, and Tenpenny were all ahead of him.
