Are their any out there? Two of yalls divisional rivals grabbed two stud DCs. Les isn't a defensive mastermind. Gonna need someone to really step up to the plate. Who knows if that guy is out there this year. LSU might finish last in the division next year. Been a long time since that has been a reality

It very well could take a year since assistants have signed extensions. I'm actually fine with that. I'd rather that than make a bad long term hire.

The timing may have fricked us for getting a top candidate this year. I wouldn't be opposed to an interim guy like Haley or Orgeron if we can't find a top DC this year. That being said, our recruiting won't take a hit long term as a result of losing Chavis, so the talent level remains the same. People exclaiming this as LSU's undoing are exaggerating IMO. We'll be fine.
And LSU is not finishing last in the division next year.

Don't get me wrong, Saban did build you into a decent program from a shite program, then bolted for the NFL then went to a great program

Let's be honest, there's not a whole lot else to talk about. Yall should bask in the offseason attention. It will all be over when Gus shows up in San Fran, anyway. Then it will be full on AUbsession.
