I was coming to post this. 1-5 so far with a 3/4/6/7/8 all losing to lower seeds. Pretty eye opening. The only victory is UT over a completely overmatched STPeters team.

The title of this threat is quite accurate. Kentucky losing to Oakland and Auburn losing to Yale just confirmed what many suspected — the SEC was a trash basketball conference this year.

Yet the SEC gets what 8 or 9 teams in because they are the SEC. Networks wants people in front of there TV’s so better mid-majors get left out. This year the SEC was mediocre. To many average power 5 schools getting in over better mid-school. The record in this year’s tournament shows it
