Didn't lower his head, or even his shoulder. Didn't "launch" into him. That's a horse shite suspension.

What are you talking about? He clearly left his feet (watch them in the gif),lowered his shoulder and his head. It was a dirty hit BUT agree the QB has to be more aware b/c there will always be assholes like that on D.

I can't get over Bateman scurrying across the field like a clueless fairy. Dude deserved to get his bell rung for that

I'm not saying over this issue in particular, but for the past 2 weeks, LSU fans have gotten their panties in a bunch over our success than every other fanbase combined on this site. They have been saying some outrageously stupid things in order to discredit us. Seems to me like someone is scared.

There's nothing wrong with that hit. Coop should be more alert.

My opinion is that unless it is a championship game, when a qb throws an interception he ought to stay right where he is. Its not like he is going to make the tackle and imagine if this was your star QB. If he stays put he is safe.

That is literally the only play he made. He missed a lot of tackles and was out of position a lot. He is a bull in a china shop that is good sometimes but isn't very consistent.

No. It's actually like saying the victim of a tiger attack deserved it for rubbing bacon all over himself, closing his eyes, and then daintily running around inside Mike the Tiger's cage.

I knowthe targeting rule, and that was targeting. He puts his head down at the last second and the collision is made with the crown to the earhole.

My God, the most annoying people in the world are those that form an opinion. Have clear evidence given to them to show that their opinion is wrong, and yet they still cling to their opinion saying it is right. You lose all credibility at that point.

What you should do here is say, OK, I didnt like the play. I didnt like the way he lorded over him after the hit. I felt the poor QB should have been protected even though it was a clean hit. If you had done that, you would have actually gained credibility. Instead you whimper on with a claim that has been proven false.

Thats football, everybody knows when an interception is thrown, keep your head on a swivel. Glad to see Denzel is ok after Fournette broke him up last year.

Or just hit the ground. You know at least one defensive player is going to immediately look for the QB in those situations.

Looked like a good clean hit to me. Bateman should have that head on a swivel after a pick.
