State might be grinding towards a better year. No 10 win campaign like some say, but I see an 8-4 or 7-5 mark for them.

Agree. Not one State fan i've seen has said 10 wins though, all are saying 7-5 or 8-4.

I think we get to 8-4, with all our receivers coming back and pretty deep at QB. O line is questionable. Defense should be good.

All of our winnable toss up games (Tenn, AU, Texas A&M, Arky) are in Starkville so I say we win 2 of those 4, UK, OM, and the 4 OOC games to go 8-4.

Must be nice for OM knowing they won't have to cut a very big bonus check though.

#1 thing for Arkansas this year? An experience OL again. Returning 3.5 starters instead of replacing 3 starters. That should help immensely.

Hardest games are at home instead of on the road.

Knile Davis coming back from injury.

WR's are the easiest position in college football to replace.

In spite of what should be a drop off due to lots of changes, I see AU being about the same or better next year. I think they'll have a better defense, and maybe one of their QBs will step up in the new offense.

Dyer never seemed full speed last season anyway. He's a big loss, but I really think a lot of people overrated him based on the holes he had to run through with Cam being option 1, 2 and 3.

The one common factor in those games (Mike Sherman's incompetence) is gone.

Optimism is cool.

Sumlin won't be beating Petrino. Sorry.

Why wouldn't I watch it and what does that show? That, with a month to prepare, you were able to string together a decent defensive performance against Kansas St. Yeah, y'all are awesome.

Jury's still out on our defense next year but fundamentally, we showed a lot of improvement in that game.

Yeah no shite, even Missouri's "lowly defense" only gave up 24 points to that high school offense in Manhattan. I'd wait to judge arkys new d coordinator on if they can hold bama or lsu to less than 40 next year

How did y'all do against Arizona State?

Looks like every loss was fairly close, with the exception of oSu. I don't know what y'all have returning but you'll probably do fairly well in the east, unless of course you're losing a lot of talent that won't be replaced. Thoughts?
