The SEC needs to come up with a rule because it's going to happen again

It will happen to LSU at some point with another hurricane.
All SEC games will be moved to the opposing team's stadium.
That's all you can do on short notice and guarantee a crowd to help with revenue for the team losing the game.
LSU will sell this out at $50/60 a ticket and will be the best money alternative for South Carolina rather than any neutral site game.

All games should be moved to Legion Field to be monitored closely by Steve Shaw and crew.

No. This doesn't happen often enough to have an automatic rule like that. A contingency plan on a case by case basis is better. What if the hurricane affects both schools?

No, it's completely unfair to allow LSU another home game.

As opposed to Arkansas avoiding a true away game every other year against tamu?

Shame on you.

Well we lost one due to weather so we're even.

What two schools could it effect? Maybe Florida and LSU. Maybe LSU and A&M, every other school is to far in state or to far from another possible school it could effect.

How is losing a game against an FCS opponent even with adding an SEC game at home? That's not even at all.

Moving the game to BR was the right thing to do. It's that simple.

I have a solution for this year. Move LSU-USC to Baton Rouge. Move USC-A&M to Columbia. Move A&M-LSU to College Station. This keeps the 4 home games 4 away games model, and nobody loses money. Perfect right?

It's affected A&M once before. College Station is the evacuation destination for a lot of Houston. So the hotels need to be available for those people. In the past, A&M has played the game but asked that only students attend so that the hotel rooms aren't occupied by alumni in town for the game.

well considering we played tamu for years there before they joined the sec, and you know they signed the contract and all, I don't think this has any relevancy.

I second this motion. And upvote it.
