Last year Oregons defense ranked 44th in the country, which would have put them in the middle of the SEC pack (7th-ish). That's total defense, which when you take into account how quickly they scored, and gave the ball back... That's pretty dang good.
They're D had better stats than ours (a&m).
We'd score more than 14, but I wouldn't kick rocks at their D.

The PAC linemen are about as big as our WRs.
Sorry but their D would be even worse if they played in the SEC.
Arkansas State dropped 34 on them; Fresno St 25. I won't mention what a very average USC team did to them.

I know it's obviously not the same team, but they've proved they can play with the big boys. They were a fluke play away from beating Cam and Auburn in the Ship just 2 years ago. 22-19, their closest game besides bama (28-27)...

They were up 50-3 on Arkansas state in the second quarter.
35-6 at halftime against Fresno state .
USC is a rivalry game as of late, and they were never winning by less than 10.
They literally destroyed everyone they played but Stanford. Stanford squeaked out a win by slowing the game down as much as possible, and they have a well coached defense.

Should have whined their way into the title game like Bama did the year before on the back of their 1-loss, divisional runner up season. They were an awesome eyeball team to watch.

You just went full retard.
Arkansas State was ALLOWED to score 34. We emptied the bench with 7 minutes to go in the first half up 50-3, ran dive plays with our backups on offense, and played our 3/4s in the second half. Same goes for Fresno State. Oregon gave up 0 points to Rich Rod's offense. Our stats would have been a lot better had the coaches cared more about stats than developing players for the future.
I will use a quote from Arky State's qb, "I don't know if you saw how big they were, they all looked like giants out there," Aplin said. The Ducks defense is large.
It depends on if we had Bama's or LSU's schedule.

Hogs 5-7, huh? Could happen, but I think that's worst case. Most realistic Hog fans are thinking 6 wins, some optimistic ones 7.
