I think he's finally aged out of the Rant.

I'll enjoy watching the kid and not pump up an incoming freshman too much.

If you look at my sentence I said help. There are plenty of other fan bases that contribute to the BS including my own. I like Lat, Sao, Missy, DC, and Cheshire. The others just keep posting shite.

Lat this isn't a shitty hog thread, it is a shitty LSU fan thread and even his fellow fans are asking for his removal. There was no reason to not click since I don't know this OP and I didn't know who Ben was.

Um, no. The collection of Arkansas posters who go absolutely insane over 7-6 football records and 2nd round exits from the NCAA tournament while calling themselves a basketball school is anything but funn and/or informative.

But, I do agree. This post is downright atrocious. After this monstrostiy of an LSU basketball team with a collection of what could have been top 10 talent, I am very much tempering expectations for next year.

If Martin and Mickey come back to play with Simmons and the others, then that will be something to get excited about. Anything less will be an expectation of more of the same. Lots of hype and an early NCAA exit.

Impressive prospect, but we hear about the "best since Lebron" every year it seems. He'll do good things in the future. I'm confused why he chose LSU, but the Tigers should be at least a bubble team again next year, provided Martin & Mickey stay. Any word on those two?

From what I understand, his Godfather is an assistant at LSU and that played a big part.

JJ started recruiting him in 9th grade. Similar to Dale Brown recruiting Shaq since 8th grade or Chris Jackson from 9th grade. Big time recruiters seem to find a lot of their guys early.

Lots of the top guys in basketball get recruited starting in the 9th grade, though. I doubt LSU was the only one unless he was a late bloomer.
