The SEC is still the best conference in the country with regards to football, and if you watch other teams play, you'd know that to be the case. It has certainly dipped in quality from where it was a few years ago, but it is still the best.

The people on this board that can't wait to be the first to write the obituary for the SEC crack me up. They're like the spoiled-rotten SJW who hates America, but wouldn't be caught dead anywhere else.

The whole country is mediocre this year. One of the worst years in memory across the board.

Show me a great team. I haven't seen one. I like the years that feature a few great teams heading for a clash. This year, Clemson and TCU and Baylor are considered the best teams. If you have watched their games this year, this year's teams are barely top 10 quality in most years.

2013 was an embarrassment of riches at the QB position for the conference. For a conference that is won with running and defense, the QBs that year were awesome.

Depends on what teams from other conferences you are watching

Many of the people writing this "stuff" appear to have teams that they cheer for in the SEC

I think we can all agree with that sentiment. There is too much of that (limousine liberals) in the country today. Also too many "conservatives" who don't believe in conserving anything.

That is my point. People can't wait to be the first to diminish their own, as if it makes them edgy and more objective.
